Ted Tollner showed his true colors once again as the Trojans were humiliated by UCLA. They were emotionally flat and greatly unprepared for a late-season traditional game, as has been the case during Tollner’s four-year career at USC. His record against the Bruins (1-3) and Notre Dame (0-3) shows that the coaching staff has no idea what Trojan football tradition means.
I hope Barney Rosenzweig will concentrate more on “Cagney and Lacey” than he did with the ridiculous letter he submitted praising Coach Tollner, who was hired without any previous head coaching experience.
