Girls’ Basketball Roundup : Silva and Welch Pace Fullerton

Vicki Silva and Sabrina Welch each scored 20 points as Fullerton High School rolled to a 77-27 victory over Anaheim in the first round of the Fullerton Tournament Thursday night.
The Indians (1-1) play Western in the semifinal at 7 tonight.
In the San Gabriel Tournament:
Chino 43, Ocean View 26--Dalene Lawson scored 11 points for the Seahawks.
In nonleague:
Capistrano Valley 75, Laguna Hills 35--Caylin Combs scored 22 points and had 15 rebounds to pace Capistrano Valley (2-0). Julie Swain scored 14 and Holly Anderson 10 with 11 rebounds for Capistrano Valley.
Kristi Hensel scored 16 for Laguna Hills (0-2).
In nonleague:
Marina 42, Los Alamitos 37--Dawn Charroin scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds to lead the Vikings (1-0) past the Griffins at Huntington Beach.
Westminster 51, Tustin 46--Devon Akita scored 16 points and Shannon Bates added 15 for the Lions (2-0) at Westminster. Julie Johnstone had 10 for Westminster.
