A Sylmar man surrendered at Van Nuys police station and was booked on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of his estranged girlfriend at the hospital where she worked as a billing clerk. Adam Espinoza, 24, allegedly killed Tina Guadiana, 24, of Sylmar, in front of horrified co-workers at Valley Hospital Medical Center on Monday morning, police said. The victim was the mother of a 6-year-old daughter. Detective Mel Arnold said she and Espinoza had a two-year relationship marked by “a history of violence.”
