Santa Monica investors sold Channel 68 in Boston.

The investors, led by Santa Monica businessman Byron Lasky, sold financially troubled WQTV to the Christian Science Monitor Syndicate for $7.5 million last December, a spokeswoman for the syndicate said. Lasky’s group had owned the unprofitable independent station for about five years.
