4,000 1987 Jeeps Recalled for Fault in Cruise Control

DETROIT — American Motors Corp. on Thursday announced the recall of more than 4,000 1987 Jeep models to check a possible fault in the optional cruise control system. Models affected are the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer, Cherokee, Comanche, Wrangler and J-10 trucks made between mid-January and mid-February, AMC said.
