PALOS VERDES PENINSULA SCHOOL DISTRICT Emergency Tax Measure

“Shall Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District be authorized to levy a special tax up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) per year per parcel of land, developed and undeveloped, for a temporary period of five (5) years to be used for programs such as reducing class size, restoring class periods, improving student services, staff development, additional instructional materials and equipment, major maintenance of school facilities; and shall the current appropriation limit be raised to permit the expenditure of funds resulting from the passage of the special tax measure?”

(Palos Verdes Peninsla School District consists of Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates, most of Rancho Palos Verdes and two unincorporated areas, the Crenshaw landfill area and Westfield.)
