Minesweeper, Freighter Collide Off Holland

AMSTERDAM — A French minesweeper was severely damaged after colliding in misty conditions Saturday with a Liberian cargo vessel off the coast between Belgium and the Netherlands, the Dutch lifeboat service said.
One crewman on the minesweeper Capella was hurt and airlifted to Belgium, a spokesman at a nautical radio service in Flushing said.
