Manila Campaigns to Put an End to Dog Eating

MANILA — The municipal administration served notice that gourmets who come to Manila to indulge in their passion for dog meat will be barking up the wrong tree.
It was announced Sunday that dog eating would be banned as part of a five-year program to register the city’s 78,000 dogs and vaccinate them against rabies.
