Former FAA Chief McKee

SAN ANTONIO — Retired Air Force Gen. William Fulton McKee, former head of what was then the Federal Aviation Agency, died at an Air Force Medical Center here at the age of 80, officials said.
McKee, who died Saturday, took over the FAA, now known as the Federal Aviation Administration, in 1965 and held the post throughout the Administration of President Lyndon B. Johnson.
