Jim Brandenburg, San Diego State basketball coach, said Thursday that he has chosen Charles Bradley and Kevin McLeod, assistant coaches under him at Wyoming, to be the Aztecs’ assistant coaches next season.
Bradley, who played for Brandenburg at Wyoming from 1978 to 1981, joined the Cowboys’ coaching staff last season. He spent three seasons in the National Basketball Assn. as a member of the Boston Celtics and Seattle Supersonics. McLeod, who played one season for the Wyoming junior varsity in 1980, had been an assistant at Wyoming since 1983.
Brandenburg was hired Tuesday to succeed Coach Smokey Gaines.
