U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Harry Pregerson of Woodland Hills is the 1987 honorary big brother of the year of the Jewish Big Brothers Assn. of Los Angeles. The award was made at the launching of the organization’s joint recruitment campaign with Catholic Big Brothers. Pregerson has served more than 20 years on the state and federal benches. Since 1935, he has been progressively involved with Jewish Big Brothers as a camper, counselor, board director and advisory member of the board of directors.
