Michael H. Fusco, a former PaineWebber Inc. executive, has been named president of Morgan, Olmstead, Kennedy & Gardner Inc., a Los Angeles-based securities brokerage and investment banking firm.
He succeeds Bryan L. Herrmann, who becomes vice chairman of the brokerage. Herrmann will also continue as president of its parent company, Morgan, Olmstead, Kennedy & Gardner Capital Corp.
Before joining the brokerage, Fusco was executive vice president and a director of PaineWebber with responsibility for its consumer products and trading group. At Morgan, Olmstead, he will direct retail and institutional sales activities, reporting to Chairman and CEO G. Tilton Gardner.
“Michael brings to MOKG the talent to capitalize on our present foundation of retail and institutional sales, with plans for expansion in both areas,” Herrmann said in a prepared statement. “Such growth will further enhance our trading, operations and corporate finance.”
