Santa Monica : Tuberous Sclerosis Week

The City Council has voted to join Congress in proclaiming the week of May 3 Tuberous Sclerosis Week. The disease, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow in vital organs, afflicts about one in every 10,000 Americans. The proclamation is designed to encourage research.
