St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank has opened the $5-million, 22,000-square-foot St. Joseph Occupational Health Center at 3413 Pacific Ave., Burbank.
The two-story facility, designed by the Feola/Deenihan Partnership of Glendale, is reportedly the Southland’s first hospital-licensed facility meeting the emergency care and therapy needs of on-the-job injured workers, the elderly and the needy.
The building also houses the area’s first adult day health center, an outpatient alcoholism and drug dependency service, outpatient mental health counseling and community outreach clinics for medical and dental services for low- and poverty-level residents.
