Sasha Radunovich, a forward on the Wichita State men’s basketball team, was granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA and the Missouri Valley Conference and will enter the 1987-88 season as a junior instead of as a senior. The appeal was based on a misunderstanding of a rule that subtracts a year of eligibility from an athlete who plays “organized” basketball after age 20.
