National Education Corp. of Irvine said it has acquired Motivational Systems, a New Jersey-based provider of educational training programs, for an undisclosed sum.
National Education, which operates a chain of technical and vocational schools, said the acquisition will allow the company to expand further into “white-collar” training, particularly in the sales and motivational markets.
The company said Motivational Systems, which generated about $3 million in sales last year, will be operated as a National Education subsidiary under the direction of its founder and president, Roger E. Flax.
