Flamemaster’s 3rd-Quarter Profit Nearly Triples

Flamemaster Corp. in Sun Valley said its fiscal third-quarter profit nearly tripled from a year earlier on a 28% revenue gain.
The maker of flame-retardant coatings and storage cabinets for flammable liquids reported net income in the quarter ended June 30 of $131,596, or 9 cents a share, up from $50,038, or 4 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed to $1.5 million from $1.2 million.
For the first nine months of its fiscal year, Flamemaster’s earnings jumped to $323,118, or 21 cents a share, from $172,741, or 12 cents a share, a year ago. Nine-month revenue was $4.2 million, up from $3.5 million.
