More dolphins were found dead of mysterious causes along the East Coast, and authorities said a 19-year-old Youth Conservation Corps worker in Virginia drowned while trying to help one of the ailing mammals. Scientists were awaiting results of preliminary laboratory tests to perhaps learn why scores of bottlenose dolphins from Virginia to New Jersey have fallen prey to a mysterious ailment in recent weeks.
