BEIRUT — Kidnapers have released Victor Kano, head of Lebanon and Jordan branches of the Lions Club charity, after holding him for 11 months, police said Friday.
They said Kano, a Christian, was released in south Beirut on Thursday night and took a taxi to his home in Muslim West Beirut.
Kano, kidnaped by gunmen last September, would not comment, but his family said he was in good health.
