Relief pitcher Scott Garrelts of the San Francisco Giants suffered a broken finger and will be out of action about two weeks.
Garrelts, a right-hander with 12 saves and 123 strikeouts, was struck on his pitching hand by a line drive in the ninth inning of Tuesday night’s game against the Montreal Expos.
