How Do Lakers Judge Players’ Salaries?
In response to your article on the Lakers’ salaries, I find it inconceivable that Michael Cooper, the 1987 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, is earning a mere one-fifth of the salary of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, one-quarter the salary of Magic Johnson and less that one-half the salary of James Worthy.
Are these players being rewarded for their size or their productivity?
