A package bomb linked to the Basque separatist group ETA exploded outside an office in downtown Pamplona, Spain, killing a woman and slightly injuring a passer-by, police said. The bomb was placed in the doorway of the Fenix y Union Insurance Co. and was apparently triggered when a newspaper was tossed on the package by a woman news vendor. She was killed instantly. About three hours before the blast, a man claiming to speak for ETA called an automobile club three times to warn of a bomb being planted in the area.
