Police arrested a 33-year-old man early Wednesday morning in the shooting of a Huntington Beach man.
According to police, Michael Windsor, who has no known address, is being held on $250,000 bond after the shooting of Jeffrey McCune, 31, a salesman, at McCune’s apartment in the 17000 block of Springdale Street.
Sgt. Bill Van Cleeve said police do not know of a motive, but the two men knew each other, he said.
Van Cleeve said the incident occurred just after midnight. McCune, who had been shot with a .38-caliber automatic handgun, ran a few hundred yards to a nearby tavern for assistance. Windsor was arrested about four hours later in Westminster.
Police said McCune had been listed in stable condition Wednesday at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital.
