Southern Section Volleyball : Lewis Is Canyon’s Ace in Victory

Nikki Lewis had seven ace serves for Canyon High School, as the Comanches defeated wild-card entry El Segundo, 10-15, 15-13, 15-7, 15-9, in a second-round 3-A Southern Section volleyball match at El Segundo High School.
Tracey Cooper had 13 blocks for Canyon and Dawn Austin had 9 kills. The Comanches are 19-2.
In another 3-A volleyball match:
La Habra 3, Villa Park 0--The third-seeded Highlanders (15-1) advanced to the quarterfinals, led by Robin Seabrook who had 15 kills and seven blocks, with the 15-11, 15-9, 15-9 victory at Villa Park. Christy Richmond added seven kills. Villa Park finishes the season 13-5.
