Buddhist Temple

I would like to respond to the article concerning the Buddhist temple that is being built in Hacienda Heights (Metro, Jan. 10). I am not Buddhist nor ever will be, but I am shocked at the prejudice shown by those opposing the temple. Leave them alone. There is truth in all religions, whether it be Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Mormon, Protestant or whatever, there is good that can be learned. Tolerance is the one thing that has made me proud of my country. Anything less than that is very shortsighted.
