Local News in Brief : Anaheim : Motorcyclist Killed, Daughter Hurt in Crash

An Anaheim motorcyclist was killed Monday and his daughter seriously injured when he collided with a car making a left turn, police said.
Robert Samuel Peck, 56, died at Humana Hospital-West Anaheim shortly after the 5:51 p.m. accident, Police Lt. Steve Brace said.
His daughter, Dawn Lauderdale, 32, of Anaheim was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where she was in fair and stable condition with injuries that included a broken leg, authorities said.
Peck, who was wearing a helmet, was driving northbound on Dale Street when he collided with a southbound car turning onto Broadway, police said.
The driver of the car was not injured or cited, police said.
