Darrylin Zanuck de Pineda, daughter of the late film producer Darryl F. Zanuck, filed a malicious prosecution suit Wednesday in Indio, Calif., Superior Court against her father’s former mistress for contesting the movie czar’s will. De Pineda’s suit claims Genevieve Gillaizeau falsely accused de Pineda of exerting undue duress on her father to change the 1973 will and to eliminate Gillaizeau as an heir. Gillaizeau had claimed in a 1980 suit that Zanuck suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and was influenced by his family to change his will in October, 1973, eliminating her as an heir to his estate, valued at $3.4 million.
