Rosemead : Sports Center Plans OKd

The City Council has approved plans for a $1-million sports complex to be built on five acres at Fern School near Klingerman Street and Walnut Grove Avenue.
The project, to be funded by the Rosemead Redevelopment Agency, will include lighted baseball, soccer and football fields. It will be used by students in the Garvey School District on weekdays and be open to the public during evenings and weekends. The facility is scheduled to be completed by July 17.
