A jury of 12 with two alternates was selected in the trial in Rutland, Vt., of John A. Zaccaro Jr. after four days of questions about attitudes toward drugs and the prominence of the defendant’s mother, former vice presidential candidate Geraldine A. Ferraro. Zaccaro, 24, is charged with selling one-quarter gram of cocaine to an undercover agent. Opening arguments in the case were set for this morning.
