Temple City : Meeting on Redevelopment

The City Council and members of the Concerned Residents Assn. will hold a public study session at 7:30 p.m. Monday at 9701 Las Tunas Drive to discuss a controversial redevelopment proposal.
The city plans a shopping center at the northwest corner of Las Tunas and Rosemead Boulevard. The project area includes 21 homes on the south side of Elm Avenue that would be demolished. The association opposes demolition of the homes and is asking the city to drop them from the project area.
