We liked the spirit of Sam Hall Kaplan’s article (April 10).
One problem. We have been receiving a number of letters with self-addressed envelopes enclosed, asking us to send our “pamphlets” on livable cities he referred to. While one might be able to call “Public Life in Urban Places” a pamphlet, it is a little hard to see how a book of 166 pages, with 32 pages of illustrations, can be considered a pamphlet. Perhaps you can save us some trouble by correcting this characterization.
