Local News in Brief : Woodland Hills Driver Dies as Auto Overturns

A Woodland Hills woman was killed and her passenger was injured Monday when she lost control of the sports car she was driving and the vehicle overturned on Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles police said.
Police said Kay L. Young, 42, was killed at 1:45 a.m. when the 1986 Chevrolet Corvette she was driving eastbound on Mulholland turned over in the street near Cass Avenue in Woodland Hills.
Neil Axe, 23, of Gardena, was a passenger in the car and was injured, police said. He was taken to Humana Hospital of West Hills, where he was treated and released.
Accident investigators said they had not determined why the car went out of control.
