Hawaiian Gardens : City Administrator Named

Darwin Pichetto, director of the Hawaiian Gardens Redevelopment Agency, has taken on the additional duties of city administrator, officials said this week.
The position, effective immediately, was authorized by the City Council last week. Pichetto will now be responsible for all city departments as well as redevelopment projects.
Dudley Lang, who had been acting city administrator since the resignation of Charles Bryant in December, will remain active in city government on a consulting basis, Lang said.
Pichetto, 57, came to the city in August from Pleasantville in Northern California.
