Warner Home Video sued United Artists Corp. in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that UA is trying to renege on aspects of a 10-year agreement to supply the foreign video rights of UA movies to the Warner Communications subsidiary. William A. Jones, the general counsel for UA’s parent company, MGM/UA Communications, declined comment.
