Steam Explodes in Plant; 1 Worker Killed, 2 Burned

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. — Equipment containing superheated steam exploded Thursday at a General Electric Co. manufacturing plant, killing one worker and burning two others, one critically, officials said. The cause of the explosion was under investigation.
