Conference on Middle Eastern, North African Migration Will Continue Today at Royce Hall

A major conference on international migration of Middle Easterners and North Africans will continue today at UCLA. American, European and Middle Eastern experts are addressing such topics as social and economic adaptation of migrants, the adaptation and status of specific social and religious groups, namely Iranians, Armenians, Arabs and Muslims, and the effect on the sending and host countries with emphasis on return migration.
Sponsored by the Near Eastern Studies Center, the International Studies and Overseas Program and the Institute for Social Sciences Research, the proceedings are being held in Royce Hall, Room 314. Call (213) 825-1181 for information.
