3 Valley Athletes Sign With CSUN

Kevin Ogle, an All-West Valley League outfielder from Reseda High, has signed a letter of intent to attend Cal State Northridge. Ogle batted .421 and had 6 home runs and 25 runs batted in for the Regents, who finished last in the league with a 4-11 record, 7-12 overall.

Shannon Haas of Poly, the East Valley League track champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meters, signed a letter of intent with Northridge last week. Haas has personal bests of 11.00 in the 100, 22.1 in the 200 and 48.9 in the 400.

Northridge also received a verbal commitment from Reseda’s Mike Marzahl, an All-City middle hitter who led the Regents to the City Section 3-A Division volleyball championship last week. Marzahl is expected to sign a letter of intent with CSUN later this week.
