Academically Fit: Eight sixth-graders at Del Obispo Elementary School in San Juan Capistrano have been picked as winners of Presidential Academic Fitness Awards and will receive certificates and lapel pins at the school’s 8 a.m. assembly June 17. The winners are Jennifer Bachman, Brooke Ballif, Chase Beninga, Rachel Brady, Erik Peterson, Brian Ralph, Kristen Ruiz and Peter Stuart, school spokesman Jeff Bristow said.
