Donna Watson Leads in City Women’s Golf

Donna Watson of Yorba Linda shot a four-under-par 71 Wednesday to take a four-stroke lead in the first round of the 65th annual Los Angeles City Women’s golf tournament at the Sepulveda Golf Complex.
Linda Chen Olsen of Porter Valley and Heide Voorhees of Woodley Lakes were tied for second at 75 in the 54-hole event on the 6,133-yard Encino course.
Defending champion Jerico Gonzales Trianna shot an 82.
