Paul Newman got mad Friday during an appearance in a Bridgeport, Conn., courtroom testifying against a suit seeking a share of his charity food businesses. In response to sharp questioning from Richard Albrecht--attorney for Westport delicatessen owner Julius Gold, who claims he was promised part of the Newman food business profits--Newman slammed down a bottle of his salad dressing and said Albrecht could “take a jump” if he didn’t believe that all proceeds from Newman’s celebrity food line go to charity. When asked if he would ever change his mind about turning profits over to charity, Newman snapped: “That is my intention now and in the future and it is so stated in my will.”
