Quarterback Danny White of the Dallas Cowboys and a partner sold $167,000 in worthless stock in their auto parts company, The Dallas Morning News reported.
White could not be reached for comment, but Paul Linford said: “The intent wasn’t there to defraud them. I honestly thought this stock issue would go through.”
