Local News in Brief : Coors at Mayor’s Breakfast

Adolph Coors IV will be a featured guest at the 1988 South Bay Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, set for 7 a.m. on Sept. 9 at the Torrance Marriott. Coors has no connection with the brewery that is run by his cousin. The breakfast, sponsored by the Palos Verdes Christian Business Men’s Committee, will be held in honor of 13 mayors from South Bay cities in recognition of their service to their communities. Admission is $15 per person or $150 for a table of 10. For information, call 373-7795.
