Contracap Withdraws Application to FDA

WILMETTE, Ill. — Contracap Inc. said it will voluntarily withdraw a premarketing approval application submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration covering its custom-valved cervical cap contraceptive device.
Contracap said the decision to withdraw was based on an intensive study of data contained in the application.
