CompuMed, a medical equipment company that is based in Culver City, has named Frederick A. Poss president and chief executive. Poss succeeds Frank A. Barbera, who remains as chief financial officer and a director. Poss previously was senior vice president-international operations at Picker International, a subsidiary of General Electric.
