Coast Guard Captures Ship, Load of Cocaine

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — A U.S. Coast Guard cutter firing warning shots seized a ship near the U.S. Virgin Islands that was carrying 1,045 pounds of cocaine, and arrested its five Colombian crew members, the Coast Guard announced Monday.
The crew of the She Me was unable to provide registration papers and it was seized as a stateless vessel Saturday night, the Coast Guard said.
