Every Monday starting at 9 p.m., the Loma Portal nightclub hosts Music Shop, an open jam session for local rock musicians. All you have to do is sign up in advance by calling 223-8680 and then show up at the appointed time with your instrument and your amplifier. There’s no cover charge, so bring along as many friends as you like to cheer you on. . . .
