C. Blaine Shull, president of Hughes Aircraft’s Ground Systems Group in Fullerton, has transferred to the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles. Shull, 64, of Palos Verdes Estates, will become a senior vice president for strategic planning at Hughes. Shull will be succeeded by W. Scott Walker, now a senior vice president and group president of Hughes’ Industrial Electronics Group in Torrance. Walker, 53, of Newport Beach, has worked for Hughes for 27 years. In another personnel change, Louis H. Kurkjian was named a corporate vice president for the Ground Systems Group. The Ground Systems Group employs 12,000 people in Fullerton and several other Orange County locations.
