A Huntington Beach man suspected in the July 6 stabbing death of his girlfriend has been arrested by police in a Los Angeles hotel.
Huntington Beach police officers said Robert Sullivan, 28, was arrested Tuesday in the Cecil Hotel in the 600 block of South Main Street. He is being held on suspicion of murdering Teri Francis Craig, 32.
The woman’s body was found in the rented, ranch-style home in Huntington Beach, where the couple had lived for seven years, police said.
Sullivan had been seen driving away from the home the morning of the slaying.
He was being held Wednesday night in Orange County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.
