South County : Toll-Free Calls Now Available to County

The county has established two toll-free telephone lines for south county residents, Supervisor Thomas F. Riley’s office announced Thursday.
Calls placed to the numbers will automatically be routed to an operator in Santa Ana who will transfer them to the office requested, a statement from Riley’s office said.
To avoid the toll, residents of Capistrano Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Canyon, Rancho Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, Capistrano Valley, Laguna Hills, Saddleback Valley, South Laguna, Coto de Caza, Laguna Beach, Leisure World, Rancho Santa Margarita and San Clemente should call (714) 249-5228.
Residents of the central south county area, including Tustin, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach and Santa Ana Heights, should call (714) 834-5900.
