Police said Thursday that they still haven’t determined whether the rape of a Pacific Beach woman is connected to other rapes in the area.
The woman was raped shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday by a man who crawled in through a kitchen window, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The suspect, described as a white male in his 30s with light hair and missing a right front tooth, entered a ground-floor apartment in the 800 block of Agate Street, Robinson said.
The man threatened the victim, in her 20s, with a sharp object and fled on foot after the rape, but a car was heard leaving the area, Robinson said.
